Plexigen is a privately held biotechnology company focusing on instrumentation and service for genetic and proteomic testing. We have developed a 3-D biological microarray, the geneCube™, that overcomes the traditional 2-D array limitations of inflexibility and low throughput. The geneCube utilizes an elegant and patented design of stacking our 2-D substrate, called a geneCard™ to form a 3-D geneCube to do parallel experiments. Originally developed for genetic testing, it has become even more applicable for proteomic assays.

Plexigen was incorporated in North Carolina in 1999. The company is located in Cary, North Carolina in the heart of The Research Triangle.
